Open the HP print and scan the troubleshooter. Although, make sure the hp scan and print doctor printer is turned on and connected to a desktop or laptop. Click HP Print and Scan Technician on the HP Support and Customer Doctor page to download the troubleshooting tool. Click Start and select the printer that is not scanning. Select the Fix scan option.
